The Consumer Contracts Regulations for Distance Selling:
At Para2 Airsoft we adhere to the Customer Contracts Regulations for distance selling, which came in to force 13 June 2014, and implement the Consumer Rights Directive into UK law.
This set of regulations is designed to give you rights when shopping online, so you're covered if things go wrong.
These rights apply to orders which have been made Online, over the Phone, or otherwise off-premises from one of our Retail Stores.
Your Right to cancel:
When purchasing items online or by phone you have the right to cancel an order up to 14 days after the order is delivered.
This 14 day period is the time you have to decide and notify us of your wish to cancel, once you have notified us you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.
You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling within this period.
When cancelling an order in this manner a refund will be issued once the unwanted items have been returned and inspected.
If you do wish to cancel an order please simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org where one of our friendly customer care team will be able to assist you.
When there is no right to cancel:
There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations don't give you a right to cancel an order.
Examples of this are:
Items which have been tailor made or customised, such as a two toned or modified workshop items (i.e. altered from their original state at your request).
Goods that have been mixed inseparably with other items after delivery, Goods that have been altered after receipt, either by you or a 3rd party.
Where items have been used more than would be needed to inspect the items as you would reasonably do in a shop prior to purchase (a reduced refund may still be available, please contact us to discuss this).
Goods and services worth £42 or less
Services that have been completed in full prior to the return (such as workshop modifications and custom paint services et).
Cost of returning items and refunds:
Unless an item is faulty on receipt or not as described the postage cost of returning any unwanted items would be the responsibility of the customer. If you have received an item that is faulty or where an incorrect item has been sent in error we will be happy to arrange for a free of charge return (see our returns section for more details).
Please see our Delivery & Returns page.
Returns Process and Faulty items:
Please see our Delivery & Returns page.
We try to ensure our website is as accurate and as up to date as we can possibly make it, but we reserve the right to make changes and (because we are human) to make the occasional error.
We ask that you do not copy anything from our websites other than for your own use; please do not modify Content such as Text, Images, Video, or Audio and then redistribute them; and please don't use them to conduct activities that breach any laws or infringe any third party's rights.
Do not copy our content for use on 3rd Party websites without our express permission, or for use on any Competitor Websites or marketing. Any infringement of our Intellectual Property, be it: Text, Images, Video or Audio will be pursued to the full extent of the law.
Price Match Promise:
We are always happy to try and price match our products with lower prices online or in store.
We try to make sure that our pricing is as accurate and as fair as possible. The correct price for any product is that displayed on the website at the time we receive your order. If we make a mistake on price and it is higher than it should be then we will refund the difference. We will always try to give you the best possible deals and to be as fair as possible on price. If an item is on sale, it might have been sold in our retail store. If so, the 'was' price will always be the highest price in the last 12 months via any of our companies, websites or retail stores, and it will have been at that price for at least 28 consecutive days. The 'now' price will always be the current lowest price.
We always try to make sure that stock levels are as accurate as possible, and we always try to keep items in stock ready to be sent to you as soon as you want them. Items on sale might run out at any time. Once we have run out of stock we will not be able to accept any orders for the item.
Despite our best efforts to maintain good availability of all items, it is unfortunately the nature of the airsoft industry that many manufacturers only offer limited availability of some items and also can sometimes cease production of some items during certain times of the year, this can lead to products being unavailable for extended periods. We will always look to offer alternative items wherever possible but cannot guarantee availability of all items at all times.
Ordering & Payment:
We accept all major credit and debit card payments via our secure website.
We might not be able to accept your order if: Your funds don't clear, whether you are paying by credit/debit card.
We have made a pricing or product description error
A product is out of stock, is not available, or was a sale item and all stock has cleared
We believe you are not using our website responsibly
We care a lot about protecting you from fraud. If we suspect that your card has been stolen and someone else is using it then we will not sell the goods to them. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse any order.
Our Two Tone Service:
Para2 Airsoft provide a service where airsoft models/realistic imitation firearms (RIFs) can be altered from their original state by covering a substantial proportion of the RIF with a bright colour. We reserve the right to coat or paint whatever parts of the RIF we deem necessary for the RIF to be a 'two tone'. We will always make every attempt to minimise colour on areas of perceived wear but this can not be guaranteed in all cases. Similar RIF models could, in some cases, be painted differently.
A two tone service can take up to 10 working days to complete, with up to 3 additional delivery days, totalling up to 13 working days from the first full business day after the purchase date.
The intent of the service is to provide an option to purchase an Airsoft model/RIF for those who are 18 years of age and above and who do not hold a recognised valid Airsoft defence*.
The onus is on the seller of a RIF to make sure they only sell to a legitimate purchaser, prosecution could result as a failure to do this.
The only groups of persons now allowed to purchase RIF's are Film, TV, Museums, Theatres, Crown Servants, and persons engaged in Historical Military Re-enactment activities, and of course regular airsoft skirmishers. All these purchasers must be over 18 years of age.
The service is a paid for addition to a RIF purchase. We do not provide the service for RIFs purchased at another retailer. Due to the nature of some substrates the coating/paint may be removed on points of abrasion wear such as hand guards, pistol grips, pistol slides and rifle stocks. We do not warrant the paint finish quality or adhesion properties. If we use Krylon the paint is said, by the manufacturer, to be 'chip resistant' after seven days. We do not guarantee a 'standard' of paint finish or coverage.
Solvents, oils etc may have an adverse effect on the paint and may in some cases cause accelerated wear. As we often are able to ship a two tone prior to the elapse of the seven day cure time some paint may wear off on high points whilst in transit. If you would like you two tone purchase to be shipped after the seven day cure time please telephone the office as soon after placing the order as possible.
Although we may be able to fulfil and deliver your order before the seven day cure time we do not recommend handling the two tone areas until this time has elapsed.
We limit the amount of overspray where possible to minimise any effect on the correct function of the RIF. Some overspray may be present where masking is favoured over complicated disassembly.
If for any reason the above terms are in anyway unacceptable you then please do not order the service. Placing and completing a two tone order on our website or in store means you have read and accepted the above terms.
In order to purchase an Airsoft Weapon, also known as a Replica Imitation Firearm, you must be over 18. This applies to both weapons in standard Military Colours as well as Two Toned Weapons.
When ordering you will be asked to confirm your Age which will be stored against the order as proof, and if required we reserve the right to put your order on hold until we have received proof that you are over 18.
The images of the Two Tone Guns on our website are preview images, meaning that the colours highlight the areas which are likely to be painted, the finished product may appear different to the image online.
The final product you receive will be painted with Spray Paint, meaning the finish will be different. There may be colour variations based on the application. For more information please see Paint and Colour Variations.
Paint and Colour Variations:
The brand of paint we use is Krylon Spray Paint, however, subject to availability we may have to use an alternative paint, as such this may result in a light colour variance from weapon to weapon.
The colour of the paint may also change shade slightly based on the base colour of the weapon. A darker base colour will result in a slightly darker shade, and a lighter base colour will result in a lighter shade.
The colours will be as close to the preview pictures as possible, however, there could be slight variations depending on the application.
Refunds and Returns:
Once painted we are unable to take the product back for a refund or store credit.
If on receipt a weapon is faulty then contact us immediately. Please Do not under any circumstances attempt to diagnose or fix any issues by disassembling the RIF in any way no matter how small. Any attempt to do this will invalidate your option to have the issue diagnosed and if applicable, Tone fixed at no cost to yourself.
Once a two tone order is placed the two tone service could begin immediately. If once an order has been placed you wish to cancel you must call us immediately and confirm with a member of staff that you wish to cancel. If work has started on the RIF we may not be able to provide a refund for that part of the order.
Modifying Two Tone Weapons:
If a painted weapon has been modified, such as purposefully removing the paint, we will no longer warranty your weapon.
Depending on the frequency, and type of use, the paint may begin to wear off. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for paint wear during use.
Typical places for this type of wear are on the Cheek Rest and Handguard, due to these parts being high contact areas with Gloves and Masks.
We reserve the right to hold your order should we be required to stop your parcel for legal reasons. If we hold your parcel we will attempt to contact you immediately, and attempt to re-contact you every few days.
Should we not be able to contact within an appropriate amount of time we will cancel your order, and refund you.
